Natasha Passes Her Apprenticeship

We are delighted to announce that Natasha has passed her Level 1 and Level 2 Hairdressing qualifications. She has worked so hard to achieve this, often in her own time and has passed with flying colours. She is already building a column and loyal following in the salon and to further enhance her training Natasha is also taking courses with L’Oreal in London and in house. We are very proud of what Natasha has achieved and know that she will continue onto further success in the future.

Wispers Launches Trebbly

Wispers is pleased to announce that from September 1st, we will be offering further added value, discounts and free services through the Trebbly app. This loyalty scheme is IN ADDITION to our long established loyalty scheme and will offer you points per visit, review or recommendation which can be redeemed for discounts or free services. The scheme is self administered as you check in on the iPads positioned in the reception or developing stations with your Wispers key fob during your visit and your points will be recorded. You can also redeem your points at these stations as well and reception will be advised so that the incentive can be applied. You can even keep a control of your account by downloading the Trebbly app.

Trebbly is a new, innovative and Wispers are proud to be one of the first launches of this amazing new programme. Make sure you collect your free key fob on your next visit and start collecting!


Wispers at Paris Haute Couture

Wispers Hair was represented by Alex at the July 2019 Paris Fashion Week- Haute Couture who assisted the fab Darren Fowler and Jason Hall at the Ritz Hotel, Paris for the stunning collection by leading Chinese designer Caroline Hu. Alex fulfilled one of her career ambitions to work at Paris Fashion Week and the team did an amazing job as you can see from the images below.

Caroline will bring her collection over to London in September and we hope to work with her again as she presents at the London Fashion Week. Great job by Alex and everyone else involved and as ever thanks for the amazing support and opportunities from Darren and Jason along with L’Oreal Professionel.

Wispers Competes in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Semi Final – London

Alex and Joe made it through to the semi final of the prestigious L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2019 #LCT19 and attended the event on Tuesday April 9th at the AmbikaP3 venue in central London. This was a well attended event judged by a panel of hairdressing legends such as Sophia Hilton and Darren Fowler and our entry in the Men’s Image category was up against an extremely high standard of competition. The event involved final preparation in front of assessors and then a cat walk in front of the audience to be judged by the panel.

Unfortunately we did not make it through to the final, but it was a fantastic experience, lots of compliments and Alex and Joe did a fantastic job and we could not have asked for more. Our model, Marcus Hodson was amazing and great to work with and most importantly looked amazing. Bring on #LCT20 and congratulations to Alex and Joe!

Wispers Reaches Semi Final of L’Oreal 2019 Colour Trophy

Wispers is delighted and proud to announce that two of our stylists, Alex Cook and Joe Reade have reached the Regional Semi Final of this years L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2019 competition. The next round takes place in London on April 9th and if successful they will go through to the National Finals in June.

This is one of the most prestigious competitions in the industry and is judged by leading stylists and colourists from all over the country.

The competition has been in place for 64 years and they received over 8000 entries this year.

Well done to Alex and Joe and good luck for the next round…watch this space!

Visit Wickham Square

Historic Wickham Square has a lot of offer the visitor and resident alike. With a plethora of boutique shops, historical buildings, places to eat and drink and of course, a professional and friendly Hair Salon in Wispers.

Parking is cheap and free in the long-term car park, and Wickham Square is easily accessible from the M27 and close to Whiteley Shopping Centre.

There are various events on throughout the year, from the annual Duck Race, Music Festival to the Morris Dancers and Taste of Wickham.

English Hair and Beauty Awards 2019

Wispers is pleased to announce that we have been selected as a Finalist in the English Hair and Beauty Awards 2019. This is a national competition to select and reward the best salons and talent in the industry and our selection has come through customer nominations. The final winners will now be decided by a panel of independent judges. The awards will be announced towards the end of March at an event in Maidenhead.

  1. The draw will be made at 2pm on Christmas Eve and will be drawn by an independent adjudicator appointed by Wispers with two witnesses present.
  2. Winners will be contacted on December 24th or as soon after Christmas as is possible and within 7 days of the draw. Winners will also be announced on Facebook and published in the Salon – full names will not be disclosed for GDPR purposes.
  3. All appointments during the period November 19th to December 24th 2018 inclusive will be entered into the draw. Two appointments on different days will count as two entries into the draw. One service counts as one appointment i.e. Colour and Cut and Blow Dry on the same day is one entry.
  4. The promoter is: Wispers Limited, 12 The Square, Wickham, PO17 5JQ
  5. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Wispers Limited and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  6. There is no entry fee to allow qualification to enter this draw.
  7. By entering this draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  8. The rules of the draw are as follows:
    a. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

Wispers Wins Customer Service Award

We are proud to announce that Salon Spy have selected Wispers as one of their winners in this year’s Customer Service Awards. Salon Spy is an independent organisation that encourages reviews from customers after their appointment and once verified, will then publish the reviews so that customers can make informed choices about which salon to use.
