Wispers Reaches Semi Final of L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2022

Although interrupted by Covid over the last two years, L’Oreal have re-introduced their long running and prestigious competition again this year and Alex, Caitlin and Hayley all entered into different categories. L’Oreal Colour Trophy is a heavily subscribed national competition and the standard of entry is extremely high. We are very proud of all three entries and each of our entrants, spent a lot of their own time in terms of the creative insight, preparation and then participating in the final styling and creative photo shoot in late February.

We are pleased to announce that Alex and Caitlin have made it through to the Semi Finals in London on April 10th where they will have to re-create a look and image on a live model in front of a panel of judges. Success in this round will see them enter the National Final in June 2022. It is a significant achievement to have two of our entries make it this far and congratulations to them both – we will be supporting them all the way and wishing all the best of luck for the Semi Final.

Hayley Graduates As A L’Oreal Colour Specialist

Hayley has now completed her intensive 13 week course at the L’Oreal Academy in London and has now graduated as a L’Oreal Colour Specialist. This is a significantly advanced course in terms of techniques and knowledge and Hayley now becomes the second graduate at Wispers along with salon owner, Tina.

The course was completely based at the L’Oreal Academy in London and involved a significant amount of theory and practical work during the day as well as assignments in her own time. Hayley now joins an exclusive and limited team of UK graduates from this course and it is validation of all of the hard work that she has put into this qualification along with her talent and passion for colouring.

Congratulations Hayley, you deserve this!

Wispers Reaches The L’Oreal Colour Trophy Semi Final – Second Year Running

Huge congratulation to Alex and Fae for reaching the Semi Finals of the prestigious 2020 L’Oreal Colour Trophy. This competition has been running for over 60 years and is one of the main competitions within our industry and is always heavily subscribed.

Alex and Fae entered the Men’s Image category with this entry which was the culmination of weeks of behind the scenes preparation and creative inspiration. The semi finals would normally be held in London during April but due to the Corona Virus, L’Oreal have now decided that judging for the final will take place behind closed doors and so we will find out next week if we have made the final later this year. We are very proud of Alex and Fae’s achievement and fingers crossed for next week’s decision. Watch this space!
